Where this power class fits
The 500W model is a starting point for evaluating replacement of existing 1000W–2000W metal-halide lamps. That range is a planning reference, not a guarantee of equivalent light coverage or measured fuel savings.
E39/E40 retrofit planning
The base supports compatible vertical lamp holders and directional adjustment. A matching constant-current LED driver replaces the legacy ballast. Confirm holder condition, mechanical support and the approved installation instructions before ordering.
Marine operation
Integrated finned heat dissipation, protective surface treatment and IP67 protection address above-water marine exposure. This model is not specified as an underwater or submersible fishing light.
Questions before ordering
Can a 500W LED replace a 2000W metal-halide fishing lamp?
It may be considered during a retrofit assessment, but wattage alone cannot establish equivalence. Compare photometric distribution, mounting height, operating conditions and required sea-surface coverage.
What should a distributor or fleet buyer send?
Send the required quantity, destination market, vessel input voltage, existing lamp and ballast details, mounting photographs, target fishing operation and preferred delivery schedule. Ask for the current specification sheet and the documents applicable to the selected configuration.
Can labels, packaging or spectrum be customized?
OEM/ODM requests can be reviewed for labels, manuals, cartons, electrical input and optical requirements. Available configurations, sample approval, minimum order quantity and lead time are confirmed by quotation.
