APPLICATION / PURSE SEINE VESSELS
Match the light to the operation.
Abylure purse seine LED fishing lights are evaluated as above-water commercial vessel lighting projects. Buyers can compare 500W, 600W, 800W and 1000W configurations while defining mounting positions, intended coverage and the available electrical supply.

Define the lighting task first
Fish-attracting illumination and deck work lighting have different objectives. Tell us whether the project concerns an above-water fishing-light array, working-deck visibility or a combination of tasks. The standard fishing-light platform should be reviewed against the optical, mounting and electrical requirements of the actual application.
Coverage and vessel geometry
Provide vessel dimensions, lamp positions, mounting height and the area to be illuminated. Include photographs of adjacent structures, gear and working positions so the proposed aiming arrangement can be reviewed.
Electrical demand
Record lamp count, vessel supply voltage, available generator capacity and simultaneous onboard loads. Select the power class and matched driver together rather than calculating a layout from lamp wattage alone.
Compare the standard configurations
| Model | Rated input | Rated lamp power |
|---|---|---|
| ABY-500 | 140–300 VAC | 500W |
| ABY-600 | 160–300 VAC | 600W |
| ABY-800 | 116–277 VAC | 800W |
| ABY-1000 | 330–430 VAC | 1000W |
The standard models use an adjustable E39/E40 base for compatible vertical holders. IP67 protection and protective surface treatment address above-water exposure. Submerged operation requires a separate product specification and is not the intended use of this series.
Prepare a purse-seine fleet retrofit request
- Identify the current lamp type, rated wattage, ballast and total installed quantity.
- Share the supply voltage, mounting photographs and intended sea-surface or deck coverage.
- Agree a sample configuration and review the relevant electrical, optical and installation documents.
- Evaluate the installation on the vessel before confirming a batch specification.
Use the LED retrofit planning guide to collect baseline information for replacing metal-halide fishing lights.
Questions from commercial fleet buyers
Can these fishing lights replace general deck floodlights?
That requires an application review. Beam distribution, glare at working positions, mounting orientation and environmental requirements must suit the working-deck task. Do not treat all marine luminaires as interchangeable.
Is 1000W always the right choice for a larger vessel?
No. The standard 1000W model has a distinct 330–430 VAC input range. Layout, supply voltage, lamp count and coverage determine the configuration to assess.
Can a distributor order a project-specific batch?
Yes, electrical requirements, labeling and packaging can be discussed through the OEM/ODM process. Configuration approval, sample requirements, quantity and delivery schedule are confirmed in the quotation.
Discuss your vessel or bulk supply requirement
Share the model, quantity, vessel supply voltage and installation details. We will review the configuration and confirm sample, documentation and quotation requirements.
